The 'Forajido' pepper is a type of jalapeno that can be harvested while it is still green.
The fruits become hotter as they ripen.
Very suitable for growing in tubs or raised beds.
Sowing: mid-February to late March. 22-26C is required to achieve a good germination result.
Soil: Peppers need a very sunny, sheltered place. Before planting, loosen the soil deeply, if possible, improve it with compost. Make sure there is an adequate water supply.
Sowing depth: 0.5-1 cm
Germination time: 8-14 days
Planting distance: 50 x 50 cm
Fertilizer: In order to achieve a good harvest, several fertilizer applications are necessary.
